In the magazine CULTURE ARCHITEKTUR, very different public buildings by MÄCKLERARCHITEKTEN are shown, from whose overall social significance their special urban planning and architectural treatment with regard to site, space, material and construction emerges.

The introduction “Social gas stations – Why it is important that architecture enables encounters” was written by David Kasparek, formerly a member of the editorial team at “DER ARCHITEKT” and today active as DAVIDKASPAR3K in the social networks.

An incredible performance that follows a strict script, and yet coincidences prompt still-lives with an irresistible charm – the magazine TRANSFORMATION ARCHITEKTUR by MÄCKLERARCHITEKTEN shows the construction site of Frankfurt’s Terminal 3 as a transitory place with expressive visual language.

The texts are written by design theorist, critic, consultant and university lecturer Professor Markus Frenzl, the pictures are taken by photographer Wonge Bergmann.
